New York Boulders News Release
(Ramapo, NY) - The Rockland Boulders have announced the First Annual BoulderDash 5k Run, which will be held at Provident Bank Park on Sunday morning, June 23. The event will be held as part of a health fair sponsored by Active International and supporting sponsor Stop & Shop, and proceeds will benefit the Active International Cardiovascular Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital, and Boulders Benefits. The Boulders will follow with a CanAm League game against the Trois-Rivieres Aigles, beginning at 2:00 pm.
"We are extremely pleased to join with the Rockland Boulders for the 5K Boulder Dash. The organization's community footprint continues to solidify and an event that benefits the Active International Cardiovascular Institute at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center shows how involved they are. We anticipate this becoming an important yearly event."
"The Rockland Boulders and Ovations Food Services are proud to be a part of the BoulderDash," said Boulders Team President Ken Lehner, "as the 5K will showcase Provident Bank Park as a community asset, while raising money for worthy causes in a new and unique manner."
