Marauders to Play Six Straight at McKechnie Field

Bradenton, Fla. - The Bradenton Marauders come home from the east coast for a six game home stand April 18-23. The Palm Beach Cardinals and Jupiter Hammerheads each make their first trips to McKechnie Field this season. Weeknight and Saturday games start at 6:30 p.m. and the game on Sunday, April 21 starts at 1:00 p.m. Gates open one hour before games start.

Thursday, April 18 is the first Thirsty Thursday presented by Budweiser. Sodas and select draft beers cost only $1. There will be a Thirsty Thursday Opening Night Pub Crawl, featuring varied drink specials at different locations throughout the game, and a post-game DJ to keep the party going after the final out. Fans can join the Thirsty Thursday Club for $50 to receive a club t-shirt, a ticket to every Thursday game, and the opportunity to earn great rewards all season. Marauders season ticket holders can join the Thirsty Thursday Club for just $10.

Friday, April 19 is 70's Night at McKechnie Field. After the game, Disco Inferno performs in the second show of the Marauders Concert Series. Fans are encouraged to wear their best 70's outfits to the game. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. and gates open at 5:30 p.m. The game is also a Happy Hour Friday presented by Pier 22 Restaurant. Between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. there will be 500 free hot dogs given away at the outfield concessions stand and drink specials from Kayem and Cheney Brothers at the Kona Bar built by NDC Construction.

After Saturday's series finale against the Cardinals, the home stand continues with a Wendy's Family Fun Sunday on April 21 against the Jupiter Hammerheads. All tickets are only $1 and regular-size Kayem hot dogs cost only $1. Tickets must be purchased at the McKechnie Field ticket office to get the $1 pricing. After all Sunday games, children 13 and younger can run the bases in the Kids Fun Run presented by Mosaic.

The Sunday Edition of the Bradenton Herald will feature a coupon to buy two tickets for the price of one for the game on Tuesday, April 23. This two-for-one coupon is available the Sunday before each Tuesday home game.

Monday, April 22 is the first Silverauders Night presented by Humana. Fans age 60 and older can join the Silverauders club for $30 and receive a free game ticket, free meal voucher, and a postgame Seniors Stroll around the bases at every Monday game. Monday night will also feature Baseball Bingo presented by Jersey Mike's Subs and Precision Litho Service.

The First Mates Kids Club convenes for the first time on Tuesday, April 23. Kids 13 and under can join the club for $15 to receive a free game ticket, meal voucher, and a special giveaway or experience at every Tuesday game. A second round of Baseball Bingo presented by Jersey Mike's Subs and Precision Litho Service will take place on Tuesday nights. After Tuesday games there will be a Kids Fun Run presented by Mosaic for all kids 13 and younger to circle the bases.

The McKechnie Field ticket office is open on non-game days from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday-Friday and closed on weekend non-game days. On Monday-Saturday game days, the ticket office opens at 1:00 p.m. and closes at the conclusion of the game. On Sunday game days and special games with 10 a.m. start times, the ticket office opens two hours prior to the game.
