
Buonassisi Off To Central Hockey League

Brandon, MB. -- The Brandon Wheat Kings have learned that veteran Nick Buonassisi has joined the Quad City Millards for the balance of their 2012-13 Central Hockey League playoffs.
A 20-year old native of Coquitlam, B.C., Buonassisi is a veteran of five Western Hockey League seasons, including this past year in Brandon.
In 69 games with the Wheat Kings during the 2012-13 campaign, he scored fourteen goals and 34 points.
During his WHL career that included stops in both Prince George and Lethbridge, Buonassisi scored 171 points, including 64 goals in 338 games.
The Mallards, who are based out of coached by former Winnipeg Jet Terry Ruskowski, finished in 6th place during the regular season with a record of 34-26-6.
The Mallards are based in Moline, Illinois.
