
Tiger-Cats Mourn Passing of Former Coach Ron (R.D.) Lancaster Jr.

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are saddened to learn of the passing of former assistant coach Ron (R.D.) Lancaster Jr.
R.D. spent six seasons (1997-2003) with the Tiger-Cats as offensive coordinator. He also spent time with the Edmonton Eskimos, Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers in addition to stints with the the University of Manitoba, McMaster University, the University of Toronto, Acadia University and Central Collegiate in Regina.
He was the son of Canadian Football Hall of Famer and former Ticats head coach Ron Lancaster.
"The entire Tiger-Cats organization would like to express our sincere condolences to the Lancaster family," said President Scott Mitchell.
