Gavrus Named Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack is announcing that forward Artur Gavrus is the teams Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week.
After netting two goals and an assist last Saturday night, Gavrus kept the hot hand this past week beginning Wednesday night against the London Knights. In a 4-3 shootout loss, Gavrus picked up a an assist on a nice feed to Daniel Milne.
On Friday evening, the Belarus native picked up his first hat-trick of the season and second career hat trick in a 9-1 win over the Erie Otters. On Saturday night, Gavrus had another assist in a 6-4 win over the very same Otters.
The line of Gavrus, Nastasiuk and Milne combined for seven goals, nine assists and a +14 rating over the three game span last week.
The Attack is back in action this week when they travel to Windsor and Sarnia on Thursday and Friday before returning home to take on the Sting Saturday.
Fans are reminded about the St. Patrick's Day Bash with Geoff Stevens immediately following Saturday's home game. Tickets are available at the Attack Box Office.
