KENT, WA - The Seattle Thunderbirds scored short-handed less than 2 minutes into overtime to win 2-1 over the Vancouver Giants at the ShoWare Center on Sunday night.
Brendan Rouse scored against his former team at 19:11 of the second period to tie the game at 1 for the Giants.
Giants' goalie Payton Lee faced 36 shots and was the game's second star.
Vancouver went 0-for-6 on the power play and had 29 shots on goal.
