
Philadelphia Union Announce 2013 Promotional Schedule

Chester, Pa. (Feb. 13, 2013) -Philadelphia Union today announced the promotional schedule for the 2013 season. The club will host several theme nights, promotional giveaways and campaigns during home games at PPL Park throughout the season.
In March, the Union will host promotional matches in their first two home games of the year. To kick off the season, the first 5,000 fans to arrive at PPL Park on March 2 - the season-opening match against Sporting KC - will receive a magnet of the Union's 2013 schedule. For the March 16 contest against New England Revolution, the Union will host Irish Night and feature entertainment special food, drinks and games honoring Irish heritage.

March 2 (4 p.m. vs. Sporting KC) - Season Opener - Schedule Magnet to first 5k fans
March 16 (5 p.m. vs. New England Revolution) - Irish Night - Entertainment, special food and drinks and contests
April 13 (4 p.m. vs. Toronto FC) - Autism Awareness - Giveaway (TBD) courtesy of Farmers Insurance
May 4 (4 p.m. vs. Seattle Sounders) - Derby Day - Celebrate the Kentucky Derby at the Union game
May 15 (7:30 p.m. vs. Los Angeles Galaxy) - Giveaway courtesy of Independence Blue Cross; Mother's Day celebration
May 18 (7:30 p.m. vs. Chicago Fire) - Giveaway courtesy of PPL Energy Plus
June 5 (7:30 p.m. vs. Columbus Crew) - Giveaway courtesy of Chick-fil-A; "Ë80s Theme Night
June 23 (5 p.m. vs. New York Red Bulls) - Father's Day Celebration

The Union kick off the 2013 season at PPL Park on Saturday, March 2 against Sporting Kansas City at 4:00 p.m. ET on 6abc.
