Gaunce Named OHL Player of the Week

BELLEVILLE, ON (Monday, December 31, 2012) -*Brendan Gaunce*is leading the Bulls into the second half of their season, being named OHL Player of the Week after recording two goals,three assists and a +3 rating in victories over Guelph and Kitchener last weekend.

Gaunce edged out Saginaw's *Eric Locke*, Windsor's *Kerby Rychel*and Owen Sound goaltender *Brandon Hope*to earn the award for the first time this season and second in his career.Gaunce, whose twelve goals lead the Bulls this season, has played an integral role on the team's first ranked penalty kill.

After being chosen to represent the OHL in the Subway Super Series in November, Gaunce was unable to participate in the series due to a shoulder injury that caused him to miss eight games for Belleville.

Back in fine form though, Gaunce looks to lead the Bulls to an East Division title this season and he's off to a good as he rounds out 2012 with a pair of fine performances.
