Gaunce edged out Saginaw's *Eric Locke*, Windsor's *Kerby Rychel*and Owen Sound goaltender *Brandon Hope*to earn the award for the first time this season and second in his career.Gaunce, whose twelve goals lead the Bulls this season, has played an integral role on the team's first ranked penalty kill.
