Greenville, SC: Today the Road Warriors announced the New York Rangers have recalled Jason Missiaen to the Conecticut Whale and the Whale has released Bryan Hince from his Professional Tryout (PTO), who returns to Greenville.
Missiaen, 21, started five games for the Road Warriors and boasted a 4-1-0 record, 2.75 GAA and a 92.2 SV%. The Chatham, Ontario native began the season with the Road Warriors AHL affiliate where he played in seven games with a 2-3-0 record, 4.94 GAA and an 85.0 SV%.
Hince, 26, did not appear in any games with the Whale. The Kapukasing, Ontario native returns to Greenville where he has started three games with a 1-2-0 record, 3.36 GAA and a 91.2 SV%.
The Road Warriors look return to home ice tonight against the Wheeling Nailers at 7 p.m. Tonight is Throwback Thursday with $2 BEERS, PRETZELS, HOT DOGS AND FOUNTAIN DRINKS PRESENTED BY 93.3 THE PLANET.
