NORTH LITTLE ROCK - The Arkansas Travelers announce the hiring of Drew Williams as the Director of Tickets. A former Travs intern, Williams returns to Little Rock after a three-year stint with the St. Louis Cardinals as a Ticket Services Account Executive. He will be responsible for the ticketing operations at Dickey-Stephens Park and be involved in corporate sponsorship.

"I am very excited for the opportunity to come back to my home state and work for a great organization like the Travelers," said Williams, who is a native of Conway. "My previous three years in St. Louis were a valuable experience. Now I'm looking forward to continuing old relationships and starting new ones with the Travs fan base."

Williams graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Business Administration. He began his career in baseball as a front office intern with the Travelers from 2007 through 2009, working with tickets, group sales, sponsorships and concessions. He moved on to St. Louis in 2010 where he spent three seasons helping to build the Cardinals' brand through superior customer service and sales.

"We are very excited about the new front office team that is taking shape," said Travelers President Russ Meeks. "Drew Williams is a great addition to the excellent staff being put in place under the leadership of our Acting General Manager Paul Allen. We are proud of the direction we are going."
