Steelheads Acquire Forward Craig Hottot from Sarnia

Mississauga, ON - The Mississauga Steelheads completed a trade earlier today and have acquired right winger Craig Hottot from the Sarnia Sting in exchange for a 3rd round pick (from Belleville) in 2013, and a 6th round pick in 2015.

The 5'11", 175 lbs Sombra, Ontario native is playing in his 4th OHL season, and has recorded 11 points in 11 games with the Sting this season. Over the course of his OHL career, Hottot has played in 177 games, posting 84 points and adding 334 penalty minutes.

James Boyd added that "Craig is an experienced player whose grit and scoring will be welcome additions to our line-up. He will join our team immediately." We are excited to welcome Craig and the Hottot family to the organization.

The Steelheads head out on the road to take on the Kingston Frontenacs tonight, followed by a trip to Belleville to face the Bulls on Saturday, before heading back home Sunday to host the Sudbury Wolves at 2:00pm at the Hershey Centre.
