Sounders FC Announce Results of Landmark General Manager Vote

RENTON, Wash. - The Sounders FC announced the retention of General Manager Adrian Hanauer during the team's annual business meeting earlier tonight. A total of 13,775 Sounders FC season ticket holders and Alliance members voted during the two-month window. The vote began on Sunday, October 7 and concluded on Friday, December 7 at 11:59 p.m. PT. More than 85% of the total votes were cast before the end of the season.

"Our fans are very passionate," said Sounders FC owner Joe Roth. "We offered season ticket holders and Alliance members an opportunity to participate in this unprecedented vote and their voice has been heard."

The results of the vote were tabulated by the Certified Public Accounting firm Moss Adams LLP, the official accounting firm of Seattle Sounders FC.

"We've been committed from day one to engage our fans in the direction of the club," said Sounders FC owner and general manager Adrian Hanauer. "The first four years have been remarkable, and I look forward to continuing the growth and progress over the next four years."
