Royals' Jamie Crooks Named Tip Top Tailor-Made Player of the Month

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that forward Jamie Crooks has been selected as the Tip Top Tailor-Made Player of the Month for November.

The 20-year-old recorded 10 points (7g-3a) over 11 games during November to lead all Royals' skaters in goals scored. The Vermillion, AB native now has 20 points (14g-6a) so far in the 2012-13 WHL regular season.

"Jamie continues to be an important player for us," General Manager Cameron Hope said. "He is a veteran player and a leader on our team, and his offensive production last month was terrific."

Crooks currently holds the team lead in goals scored while he also recently competed in his 250th WHL game last Tuesday against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Crooks was acquired in a trade with the Saskatoon Blades by the Chilliwack Bruins in 2009 and has gone on to register 164 points (92g-72a) so far in his WHL career.
