Santa Cruz Warriors News Release

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The NBA D-League announced today that two Santa Cruz Warriors home games will be carried nationally on CBS Sports Network this season. National television crews will broadcast the Santa Cruz Warriors in the brand new Kaiser Permanente Arena as they take on the Maine Red Claws on Saturday, February 23 and the Idaho Stampede on Monday, March 25.

The game on Monday, March 25 against the Stampede will tip-off at 6:30 p.m. It was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 at 7:00. CBS Sports Network will also broadcast the Santa Cruz Warriors play the Los Angeles D-Fenders in L.A. on Saturday, March 30.

"Our new arena and this wonderful city will look beautiful in the national spotlight," said Santa Cruz Warriors President Jim Weyermann. "Seeing Santa Cruz on national television in high-definition can only build its reputation as the go-to place for large events, while adding to the city's rich history as a sports destination."

Anybody interested in securing tickets to these nationally televised home games can now purchase mini-plans, which are available online at www.santacruzbasketball.com or at Santa Cruz Warriors Headquarters at 903 Pacific Avenue. Mini-plans, which reserve a seat for a select number of home games, provide the first non-season ticket opportunity to join the Santa Cruz Warriors family.

The Santa Cruz Warriors are the NBA Development League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors. The team is set to tip-off its inaugural season at the Kaiser Permanente Arena at 140 Front Street on December 23.
