Three Bighorns Home Games to be Nationally Televised

RENO, NEV., November 14, 2012 - The Reno Bighorns will have three nationally televised home games on CBS Sports Network this season, it was announced today.

The first CBS Sports Network game will be on Monday, January 7th when the Bighorns take on the Springfield Armor at the NBA D-League Showcase in Reno. The game tips off at 7 p.m. PST. The Bighorns Saturday, March 9th game against the Sioux Falls SkyForce will also be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. That game, originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. start, has been pushed back to an 8 p.m. start time. The third Bighorns game to be nationally broadcast will be Monday, April 1. The Bighorns will face the Bakersfield Jam at 6:30 p.m.

"Our Reno Bighorns will play before a national audience," said Reno Bighorns owner Herb Santos, Jr. "NBA fans from all over the country will not only see the excitement of Bighorns basketball, but many of our sponsorship partners and the Reno-Sparks-Tahoe area will be broadcast into family rooms across the United States. We are excited that the Bighorns will be able to showcase the Bighorns family and our community."

CBS Sports Network will also broadcast the NBA D-League 3-Point Shootout and the NBA D-League Slam Dunk Contest from the 2013 NBA D-League Showcase on Thursday, January 10 at 7 p.m.

In Reno, CBS Sports Network is available on channel 643 through AT&T, channel 411 through Charter, channel 613 through DirecTV and channel 158 through Dish Network.

The Bighorns open their fifth season in Reno on Friday, November 30th at 7 p.m. against the Santa Cruz Warriors. Opening Weekend continues on Sunday, December 2nd at 3 p.m. Season tickets and group tickets are on sale today. For more information, fans can call 775-853-8220.
