Houston is currently tied for first place in Group 3 with Honduran club C.D. Olimpia. Both clubs have four points and two matches remaining in group play.

The CONCACAF Champions League is a 24-team tournament featuring the best club teams in North and Central America and the Caribbean. This year, the 24 teams are grouped in eight groups of three. Each team plays the other two teams in its group twice - once home and away - for a total of four Group Stage games. The eight group winners advance to the quarterfinals, held in March 2013. The winner of the CONCACAF Champions League advances to the FIFA Club World Cup.

Dynamo forward Brian Ching has six goals in international competition and is tied with former Dynamo midfielder Stuart Holden for the franchise lead.

The Dynamo resume regular season action at PPL Park on Sunday when they face the Philadelphia Union at 3 p.m. in Chester, Pa.
