Cubs vs. Threshers Postponed to Wednesday Doubleheader

The Daytona Cubs vs. Clearwater Threshers doubleheader, scheduled for Tuesday, August 28th at 5:05p.m. at Jackie Robinson Ballpark has been postponed due to more rain and unplayable field conditions. The two teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Wednesday, August 29th, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 5:05p.m. One of the three games of this series with Clearwater has been canceled. All tickets for Monday's and Tuesday's games, as well as the other nine postponed Daytona Cubs home games, can be exchanged for any future 2012 regular season Daytona Cubs game. All Belly-Buster Monday tickets can be exchanged for a free food voucher. In addition to Breast Cancer Awareness Night and $1 Dollar Wednesday, Wednesday will also be a Silver Sluggers night at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The Cubs will be home from Wednesday through Sunday, September 2nd to end the 2012 season.

The final six days will feature a Silver Sluggers Wednesday, $1 Dollar Wednesday and the final chance to see the 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness Jerseys which are available via auction at daytonacubs.com, Thirsty Thursday, Dog Days & The Pearl Dig on Friday, Fireworks on both Saturday & Sunday, and Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday as well. It has officially rained at Jackie Robinson Ballpark 21 of the last 22 days.
