August 27, 2012 - United States Hockey League (USHL) Youngstown Phantoms

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown Phantoms have introduced an updated primary logo in time for the start club's fourth season in the United States Hockey League.

The newly designed logo will be utilized immediately and be featured on all new Phantoms merchandise. The team's familiar circular crest will still be featured on chest of the Phantoms' white and black jerseys this season.

"The Youngstown Phantoms are dedicated and devoted to providing the highest quality in sports and entertainment to the Mahoning Valley and surrounding areas," said Donnie Dragish, Phantoms director of marketing and advertising.

"We have established an modernized look and contained our name within it. The revitalized logo is the new face of our hockey brand and the key element for our brand identity going forward as the only Tier I team in the state."

Phantoms training camp gets underway at the Ice Zone in Boardman, Ohio, on Tuesday, Sept. 4. The 2012-13 season opens on Friday, Sept. 28, when the Phantoms face the Omaha Lancers at the Covelli Centre. The puck drops at 7:15 p.m. and single game tickets go on sale Sept. 4.
