Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release
DUBUQUE, Iowa- The Dubuque Fighting Saints and CN - Canadian National Railway Company and its operating railway subsidiaries - are proud to announce the return of the CN Community Ticket Program for the 2012-13 season. With this program, the Fighting Saints will offer an allotment of tickets to non-profit organizations in the Dubuque area that wish to attend a Fighting Saints game.
The CN Community Ticket Program will help enrich the lives of those lesser privileged, youth in need, senior citizens, and those medically dependent. Eligible non-profit organizations may request tickets to a Fighting Saints game by emailing cn@dubuquefightingsaints.com. The message should include the name and purpose of the organization, a phone number, and the game the organization would like to attend. Tickets must be distributed to the population of the organization, and school and church groups are not eligible to participate in the CN Community Ticket Program.
"As part of our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve, CN is very pleased to be working with the Fighting Saints for a second season to offer the less-fortunate an opportunity to participate in a community activity that they otherwise might not be able to afford," said CN Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer Keith Creel.
CN is a leader in the North American railway industry, spanning Canada and mid-America, from the Atlantic and Pacific oceans to the Gulf of Mexico. The company has 20,600 route-miles of track in North America, and employs approximately 22,000 workers. CN's footprint is strong in the state of Iowa, and it has a line running through Dubuque. CN also offers rail, trucking, warehousing, and distribution services.
The Fighting Saints are now taking requests for the CN Community Ticket Program for the 2012-13 season. For more information, call the Fighting Saints office at 563.583.6880.
