OGDEN, UTAH - The Missoula Osprey managed to get into a scorefest on Monday here at Lindquist Field, but did not have enough to stop the Ogden Raptors from taking a 15-9 win in front of 2,874 fans.

The Osprey (13-9, 31-29) had 12 hits on the night - five different players ended up with two hits each - but they also could not stop the Raptors from scoring for much of the night, either. Ogden (11-11, 32-28) had 17 hits and scored 10 unanswered runs after Missoula worked their way to a 9-5 lead after the top of the fourth inning.

Ogden scored seven times in the bottom of the fourth, off of starter Jared Ray and reliever Patrick Smith (2-1), then added single runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to account for the final score.

Evan Marzilli, Breland Almadova and Socrates Brito each had two hits and two RBIs, while Kevin Dultz added a two-run double for the Osprey. Jake Lamb chipped in with two hits and a RBI, while Danny Pulfer added two hits, and Pedro Ruiz finished with a double and a run scored for Missoula.

The Osprey and Raptors will play the second game of their four-game series on Tuesday at Lindquist Field. The Osprey will send right-hander Ross Gerdeman to the hill, while the Raptors will counter with right-hander Ross Stripling.

The Osprey will return home for a two-game series with the Great Falls Voyagers on August 28-29. Tickets are available now at the MSO Hub Box Office, located at 140 North Higgins in Downtown Missoula, online at MissoulaOsprey.com and by phone (406) 543-3300.
