
Minnesota Lynx Waive Julie Wojta

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has waived guard/forward Julie Wojta. Wojta, originally selected by the Lynx in the second round of the 2012 WNBA Draft, had signed a seven-day contract on July 9. She appeared in one game with the Lynx, grabbing two rebounds in four minutes of play. Minnesota's roster now stands at 11 players.
The Lynx continue their regular season tonight against the Washington Mystics at 7 p.m. Prior to the game, the Lynx are hosting a free Target Field Plaza Pre-Game Party beginning at 4:30 p.m. The event will include live music from the Urban Myth Band, face painting, games, exclusive Lynx prizes and more!
