----- Today, the SeaWolves look to snap an eight-game road losing streak as they take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays) in the middle game of a three-game series. Last night, the SeaWolves failed to come up with a key hit as they stranded 10 runners on base and went just 3-for-12 with runners in scoring position as they dropped their eighth straight road game. Erie's last road win came in a 3-0 win over Altoona on July 20...The SeaWolves are happy to turn the calendar to August. Erie finished July 8-22 and just 2-15 on the road...Today, lefty Jared Wesson takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 18th start and first against the Fisher Cats. Wesson is 2-1 since returning from Lakeland to start on 7/17. Wesson earned his sixth win in is his last start against Richmond on July 27. In the game, he allowed a run on five hits with four walks and two strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie won the game 5-2..RHP Yohan Pino takes the mound for the Fisher Cats making 19th appearance and 16th start. Pino has lost three consecutive games. In his last start against Altoona on July 27, Pino allowed a run on five hits with a walk and a season-high nine strikeouts in six innings of work...Erie is in a stretch of 12 consecutive games against the Fisher Cats and Portland Sea Dogs. Following this road trip the two clubs will visit Erie next week.
