Thursday's Aeros Game Rained Out

AKRON, OH - The Akron Aeros game against the Bowie Baysox, scheduled for Thursday, July 26th at 7:05 p.m., has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up on Friday, July 27th as part of a doubleheader beginning at 6:00 p.m. Each game of the doubleheader will be seven innings. The Canal Park gates will open at 5:00 p.m. Fireworks will follow game two.

Fans holding tickets for Thursday's game may exchange them for the makeup game Friday, or any remaining home game during the 2012 season. Fans must redeem their tickets in person at the Canal Park Box Office. Tickets are subject to availability.

For the doubleheader Friday, game one will feature LHP Jacob Pettit (7-2, 4.15) for the Baysox against RHP Paolo Espino (5-2, 3.28) for the Aeros. In the nightcap, RHP Mike Wright (1-3, 5.64) will go for Bowie and LHP T.J. House (6-2, 3.69) will counter for the Aeros. The games can be heard on FOX SportsRadio 1350-AM, or online at sportsradio1350.com, beginning at 5:50pm.

Following Friday's Twinbill, the first-place Aeros will conclude the seven-game homestand with games against Bowie on Saturday evening at 7:05, and Sunday afternoon at 1:05.
