Baysox Reschedule Charity 5k

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox have rescheduled the inaugural Charity 5K and Kids Fun Run for Sunday, August 12 beginning at 8 a.m. The event was originally scheduled for Sunday, July 1 but postponed due to severe storms that weekend. Online registration for the event is open until Friday, August 10 and walk-up registration the day of the event will be accepted. Only those who did not register for the first event need to sign-up for the rescheduled date. Registration for the Baysox 5K is $30 and registration for the Kids Fun Run is $15 with the proceeds benefitting the Bowie Health Center, Bowie Police Explorers and Louie's Holiday Hope Project.
