Nashville Sounds News Release
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tonight's scheduled doubleheader at Greer Stadium between the Nashville Sounds and Albuquerque Isotopes has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions due to heavy rains throughout Middle Tennessee.
One game will be made up as part of a 5:05 p.m. doubleheader on Sunday evening, when the two teams will play a pair of seven-inning games. Gates open at 4:05 p.m.
A second doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, when the Isotopes visit Music City for the final time this season.
Tickets for tonight's doubleheader (July 14) may be exchanged at the Greer Stadium box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value, pending availability, to any remaining 2012 regular season Sounds home game.
Sounds righty Wily Peralta (5-8, 5.10) will toe the rubber against Isotopes right-hander Will Savage (10-3, 5.34) in Sunday's doubleheader opener.
Nashville will send righty Claudio Vargas (3-1, 4.89) to start the twinbill finale against Albuquerque righty Blake Johnson (0-0, 6.39).
