Tonight's Game-- The RedHawks will try and bounce back after last night's loss when they face the Zephyrs at 7:05 p.m. Following the third inning, the RedHawks will honor Tyler Groom as part of the INTEGRIS Health Home Run For Life series.

Last Night-- The Zephyrs used the long ball to keep the RedHawks at bay in a 10-8 win. New Orleans didn't waste any time getting on the board as center fielder Kevin Mattison hit a home run on the second pitch of the game. Oklahoma City responded in the bottom half of the first on Matt Dominguez's two-run single. The RedHawks tacked another run on in the bottom of the second on Carlos Corporan's long home run to right field to make it 3-1. New Orleans erupted for five runs in the fifth to take command. The RedHawks chipped away, plating one run in the fourth and two more in the sixth to tie. Still knotted at 6-6 in the eighth, Mike Cervenak blasted a three-run homer with two outs off Mickey Storey (7-3) to give the Zephyrs the lead. Although the RedHawks shot back with a pair of runs, the Zephyrs added an insurance run on a Donnie Muprhy homer in the ninth.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Armando Galarraga will look to continue his strong season with the RedHawks...Through his first six starts, Galarraga has allowed two runs or less five times...Last time against New Orleans, Galarraga was cruising into the seventh until Nick Green got him for a game-tying three-run homer...With that homer, it marked the only time Galarraga has allowed more than two runs in a start, as well as the only hit he's allowed with a runner in scoring position (1-for-18)...In two starts against the Zephyrs, Galarraga has held New Orleans to four runs over 10.2 IP and a .200 batting average...Each of his two previous starts this season in OKC have been quality starts...After starting this season in the bullpen, New Orleans pitcher Elih Villanueva makes his sixth straight start...He took the loss Sunday against the RedHawks, allowing three runs in five innings, all on a Carlos Corporan homer...In three appearances against the RedHawks, he has given up five runs and nine hits over 10 innings...As a reliever, Villanueva owns a 3.69 ERA but it jumps up to 5.40 as a starter...He's been solid away from New Orleans, going 3-1 with a 3.82 ERA on the road.

Tied at the Top-- With the RedHawks' loss and Albuquerque's win over Nashville, they are now tied for first place in the American Southern Division. It's the first time since May 4 there's been a tie atop the standings, as either team has been at least in front of the other by a half-game every day since.

Corporan Keeps It Rolling-- Over the last five games, Carlos Corporan is 12-for-21 (.571) with two homers and six RBIs. He's also turned in the game-winning hit in two of the RedHawks' last three wins. During this recent outburst, Corporan has raised his season average from .233 to .280.

He's Not Just About The Bat-- Corporan leads the PCL in throwing out opposing base stealers at a 43.6 percent clip. Teammate Landon Powell ranks second at 39.6 percent. Combined, the RedHawks lead the PCL, wiping out 41.7 percent of those trying to steal.

Angel in the Infield-- Angel Sanchez is on a season-best eight-game hit streak, going 12-for-26 (.462). He has collected at least two hits in three of his last five games.

Bases Loaded Bashers-- During this series, the RedHawks have gone 4-for-4 with seven RBIs with the bases loaded. They're now hitting .380 with the bases full for the season, ranking third-best in the league.

Two-Out Thrashers-- 15 of the RedHawks' last 18 runs have scored with two outs.

Close Calls-- Each of the RedHawks' last five wins have come by one run. They have played in the second-most one-run games in the PCL this season, and their 18 wins by a single tally are the third-most in the league.

Out of the Ordinary, Part I-- The Zephyrs have hit 18 home runs over their last seven games against the RedHawks. They have hit 25 homers in 14 games against OKC, but have hit only 73 homers in their other 79 contests.

Out of the Ordinary, Part II-- Over 14 games, the RedHawks are hitting .311 against the Zephyrs. The rest of the PCL only hits .253 against them. The Zephyrs' ERA against the RedHawks is 5.26, but 3.81 against the rest of the league. On the other hand, the Zephyrs hit .298 against the RedHawks but .257 against everyone else.

Against the Zephyrs-- The RedHawks and Zephyrs have split have the first 14 games of the 2012 season series...Each team has won consecutive games just once...Nick Green has been a nightmare for OKC, hitting .429 with four homers and 15 RBIs...Mike Cervenak has hit safely in all 14 games, hitting .350 with five homers and 20 RBIs...He has three homers and 22 RBIs over his other 43 games...Angel Sanchez has hit .439 against the Zephyrs with eight RBIs over 11 games...Carlos Corporan is batting .471...After playing a five-game series before the break, tonight marks the eighth of nine consecutive games between the two squads.

INTEGRIS Health Home Run For Life-- Following the third inning, the RedHawks will honor Tyler Groom as part of today's INTEGRIS Health Home Run For Life. Four years ago, Tyler's enlarged heart threatened his life until a unforeseen twist of fate provided a life-saving heart transplant.
