Havoc Busy On Trade Front

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc head coach Glenn Detulleo has been busy in his first couple of months as head coach of the team and that was evident today as the team announced a couple of trades.

The rights to Havoc forward Brandon Richardson have been traded to the Fayetteville FireAntz for the rights to forward Mike Forgie.

Forgie, at 6-3, 210, brings some size to Havoc front line. He played in 41 games in Fayetteville last season and scored 17 goals and recorded 23 assists. He played three seasons in Europe from 2008-2011 where he scored 56 goals and recorded 82 assists in only 109 games. The Scarborough, Ontario native played in 108 collegiate games at Wayne State where he scored 27 goals and had 29 assists.

Richardson played in 26 games for the Havoc last season before getting called up to the Bloomington Blaze of the CHL. He scored 13 goals and recorded 10 assists in a Havoc uniform. He scored four goals and had 16 assists in 36 games for the Blaze.

Detulleo also announced that the Havoc traded forward Ryan Kretzer to the Mississippi RiverKings for future considerations. Kretzer played in 38 games for the Havoc last season, but missed the final 14 and the playoffs with an injury. He played in 45 games during the 2010-11 season. In all, the St. Louis, Missouri native scored 26 goals and recorded 46 assists as a member of the Havoc.

The Havoc will begin their ninth season this fall on Breland Homes Ice at the Propst Arena.
