
D.C. United Trio Loaned out for Weekend Matches

Washington, D.C. (July 13, 2012) - D.C. United announced today that Long Tan, Ethan White, and Andrew Dykstra will be loaned out to United Soccer League (USL) sides for one match this weekend. Forward Long Tan (Dalian, China) and Defender Ethan White (Kensington, Maryland) will join the Richmond Kickers for their USL league match when they host the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Friday, July 13th, at 7:00 p.m. United Goalkeeper Andrew Dykstra (Woodbridge, Virginia) will join the Charleston Battery for a home matchup against the Wilmington Hammerheads on Saturday, July 14th, at 7:30 p.m.
This will be White's third match with the Kickers, while Long Tan's weekend visit will be the first of his tenure while with D.C. United. Long Tan was acquired from the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in exchange for a 1st Round Supplemental pick in the 2015 draft on June 28th, 2012, and has yet to make an appearance for the Black-and-Red. Dykstra is no stranger to the Charleston Battery this season, as he has been loaned out numerous times already this season for valuable first team action.
