
Prades Powers Naturals to Win

SPRINGDALE, AR- Yem Prades delivered an RBI single to give the Naturals a 5-4 eleven inning win over the Tulsa Drillers on Tuesday night at Arvest Ballpark.
Michael Mariot turned in a marvelous start on the mound. He worked a Double-A career high seven innings allowing six hits and just one run, to earn the no decision.
The Naturals' offense took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning getting a solo home run from Carlo Testa. The home run was the tenth of the season for Testa and his second in as many days.
The Drillers retied the game in the top of the seventh inning getting a single from Kiel Roling and an RBI double from Kent Matthes.
The Drillers (40-30) got their first lead of the game in the top of the eighth inning. Josh Rutledge led off the inning with a triple and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Roling to make it 2-1. Corey Dickerson followed with an RBI double to push it to 3-1. Matthes followed with his second RBI double of the game to put the Drillers up by three.
The Naturals offense got a rally going in the bottom half of the eighth. Julio Rodriguez ripped a double down the line for a lead off double. Rey Navarro delivered a two-run home run to cut the deficit to 4-3. The home run was the third of the season, and his first at Arvest Ballpark. The runs all came against Drillers' starter Dan Houston. Houston went seven and a third innings allowing nine hits and three runs.
The Naturals (37-33) got a lead off double from Mario Lisson to lead off the ninth inning. Lisson stole third and later scored on a safety squeeze by Nick Van Stratten to tie the game at four.
Prades came to the plate in the bottom of the eleventh inning with two outs and came through in the clutch. His RBI single to center field scored Sharlon Schoop and gave the Naturals their second straight walk off win. The walk-off hit was the second of the season for Prades as well.
Tim Sexton (1-0) earned the win for the Naturals working three shutout innings and striking out three. Zach Simons (1-1) took the loss for the Drillers allowing one run on two hits over an inning and two-thirds of work.
The Naturals will continue their four game series with the Drillers tomorrow night at 7:05 PM. Felipe Paulino will take the mound for the Naturals to begin his rehab assignment against the Drillers Parker Frazier (3-7, 3.81).
