MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Biscuits (26-24) put the winning run on base in the ninth inning but could not score off Jackson Generals' (29-21) closer Carter Capps (5) in a 4-2 loss to the Generals Sunday afternoon at Riverwalk Stadium.

With the Biscuits trailing 4-2 to start the bottom of the ninth, Michael Sheridan and Tyler Bortnick led off with back-to-back singles. Brad Coon sacrificed both runners into scoring postion. After a strikeout from Emeel Salem, Capps walked Hak-Ju Lee to load the bases and put the potential winning run on base. Jackson's closer would come through by striking out Ty Morrison to end the game.

The Biscuits came back from a 2-0 deficit in the bottom of the fifth inning.
