Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release

The 15th sellout crowd of the season went home happy as the Blue Wahoos claimed a 4-2 win over the Mississippi Braves on Thursday night. The packed house made for another great experience at the Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. Fans enjoyed drink specials on beers and sodas and the first 2,000 through the gates took home a nice fan flag compliments of Copy Products.

The Wahoos didn't let them down on the field either. Yordanys Perez put the Blue Wahoos ahead with a solo home run in the second. He would drive in another run later in the game as part of a two-RBI game. Ryan LaMarre provided some excitement from centerfield with a pair of outfield assists giving him 11 for the season, more than enough for the league-lead.

The series continues Friday night with Fan Appreciation Friday as the first 2,000 fans will get a patriotic hat courtesy of Virginia College. If you can't make it out to the stadium, you can catch the game online with MiLB.tv or on the radio with Tommy Thrall and Andrew Green on 1450 ESPN Pensacola.
