MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Jackson Generals (28-19) scored single runs in each of the last three innings to come back from two different deficits en route to a 5-4 victory over the Biscuits (24-23) Thursday night at Riverwalk Stadium.

The Biscuits brought a 3-2 lead into the top of the 7th inning when Danny Almonte knocked a solo home run off of Alex Koronis to bring the Generals back from their first deficit. After a squeeze bunt from Mark Thomas in the bottom of the 7th to put the Biscuits back on top, Jackson used an RBI-single from Kalian Sams in the 8th to tie the game at four. An RBI-single from Eric Campbell in the top of the ninth would give the Generals their final lead of the game.

Matt Buschmann tossed six strong innings for Montgomery. The sinker-baller struck out six while scattering five hits and allowing two runs, one of which was unearned. Adam Liberatore (3-3) allowed the final two runs of the game for the loss.

Steve Garrison gave up three runs on seven hits in a no-decision for the Generals. Carter Capps (2-2) struck out four of the six batters he faced in the final two innings to grab his second win of the year.

Ty Morrison finished the game 1-4, hitting his first home run at the double-A level. Thomas went 2-2 with an RBI, and Ryan Garko hit his first homer as a Biscuit.

The Biscuits and Generals will be in action again for game three of the series Friday night at 7:05. Montgomery will send RHP Jake Thompson to the hill while Jackson will use LHP James Paxton.
