The Guelph Storm Hockey Club announced today that Kyle Locke, the team's 2nd round pick in 2012, has signed an Ontario Hockey League contract with the team.
The Aurora native had 5 goals, 21 assists and 74 penalty minutes in 24 games played with the York Simcoe Express Minor Midget AAA's last season.
Described as both a physically and mentally mature player with good skills, hockey sense and a high compete level, Locke adds a valuable right shooting defenceman to the Storm roster.
The team and our fans would like to welcome Kyle and his family to the Storm family.
Locke will join the rest of the Storm when training camp opens at the Sleeman Centre in late August.
