Blazers Acquire Trzonkowski from Hitmen

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have acquired 18-year-old forward Rob Trzonkowski (pronounced CHIN-koss-key) from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for a 4th round pick in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

Trzonkowski, who stands at 6'1" and 195lbs, has completed two seasons in the WHL. In 111 career games, the right winger has 4 goals, 12 assists and 16 points to go along with 200 penalty minutes.

"Rob was a player we targeted and wanted to add to our forward group this season," commented General Manager, Craig Bonner. "He is a big physical forward who will add some needed size to our forward group. We are looking forward to Rob joining our team."
