NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR. - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals dropped their second game in a row, falling to the Arkansas Travelers 4-3 Sunday afternoon at Dickey-Stephens Park.

The Naturals (24-19) got on the board first in the third inning. After Julio Rodriguez doubled to lead off the inning, Christian Colon hit a single, his second of the game, allowing Rodriguez to score and putting the Naturals up 1-0.

Northwest Arkansas got their second run in the next inning, when Colon walked with the bases loaded. Carlo Testa scored from third to double the lead to 2-0.

Naturals starter Chris Dwyer was perfect over the first four innings he pitched, and allowed just two runs on three hits over his six and two-thirds total. He struck out five and walked three over the course of his outing. Travelers (18-25) starter John Hellweg allowed just two runs on six Naturals hits over four and two-thirds innings of work, walking six while striking out three. Neither starter factored in the decision.

The score stayed 2-0 Naturals until the Travelers tied it in the bottom of the seventh. After Rian Kiniry walked, Angel Castillo homered to left field, chasing Dwyer from the game. Michael Mariot (1-2) finished the inning, striking out Jose Jiminez.

The Naturals got their lead back when Yem Prades hit his second home run of the season off reliever Daniel Tillman (1-4).

Another two run inning decided the game. With Jean Segura on third and one out, Roberto Lopez reached on an error, allowing Segura to tie the game at three runs apiece. Two batters later, Renny Osuna scored on a groundout by Darwin Perez, giving the Travelers their first lead.

Andrew Taylor retired the Naturals in order in the ninth to earn his first save of the season.

The Naturals will look for the series split Monday morning. First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 AM. Ethan Hollingsworth (0-0, 7.94) is slated to make his first start for the Naturals. He will face Ariel Pena (1-4, 4.08). The game can be heard on ESPN 92.1 The Ticket.
