MEMPHIS, TN - Baptist Memorial Health Care has partnered with the Memphis Redbirds to celebrate their 100th anniversary at AutoZone Park. Baptist Memorial Health Care Centennial Weekend will commence Friday, May 11th through Sunday, May 13th as the Redbirds face the Reno Aces and Colorado Springs Sky Sox. More information on the Baptist Memorial Health Care 100 anniversary celebration can be found at Baptist100.org.

"We're commemorating our centennial in a number of ways, but this celebration is special because it honors the people most responsible for our success-our colleagues," said Larry Braughton, Vice President of Human Resources for Baptist Memorial Health Care. "They are compassionate, highly skilled professionals who give their all every day to help Baptist remain the Memphis area's provider of choice."

This partnership formed between Baptist Memorial Health Care and the Redbirds organization will provide the opportunity for Baptist colleagues and their families to enjoy a Redbirds game. Over 16,000 tickets have been requested by Baptist colleagues to this weekend's games as Braughton explains.

"Our colleagues are very excited about the Baptist Centennial Weekend at AutoZone Park. They requested nearly 16,000 tickets to this weekend's games so they can help us celebrate 100 years of care in the Mid-South."

Baptist Memorial Health Care will be presenting sponsor of the three-game weekend and firework show at the conclusion of the Saturday, May 12th 6:05pm game.

Fans planning to attend a game this weekend are encouraged to purchase tickets online at memphisredbirds.com and select the "print at home" feature to avoid ticket lines. Saturday's 6:05 contest with post-game fireworks is approaching a sellout.
