Budweiser Clydesdales Appearing in Kannapolis Today Only from 4-7pm Before Intimidators Game

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (May 8, 2012) -- The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales will be making their first appearance in the Greater Charlotte Area in almost a decade when they visit CMC-NorthEast Stadium in Kannapolis today from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the Kannapolis Intimidators baseball game at 7:05 p.m. The Clydesdales, which have been featured in everything from Super Bowl commercials to presidential inaugurations, will be putting on a show and be available for pictures leading up to the Intimidators game.The Intimidators and Budweiser will be giving away collectable Clydesdale Steins several times throughout the game as well as a few other promotional items. The Intimidators are also running a special at the ballpark with 16 oz. Budweiser and Bud Light draft for only $2 at the beer tent. The Budweiser Clydesdales made their first-ever appearance on April 7, 1933, as part of a celebration of the repeal of Prohibition.
The Intimidators conclude their home stand with today's series finale against Hickory. CMC-NorthEast Stadium is located off I-85 at exit 63. For ticket information, please call 704.932.3267 or purchase tickets online.
