
Budweiser Clydesdales Appearing in Kannapolis Today Only from 4-7pm Before Intimidators Game

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (May 8, 2012) -- The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales will be making their first appearance in the Greater Charlotte Area in almost a decade when they visit CMC-NorthEast Stadium in Kannapolis today from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the Kannapolis Intimidators baseball game at 7:05 p.m. The Clydesdales, which have been featured in everything from Super Bowl commercials to presidential inaugurations, will be putting on a show and be available for pictures leading up to the Intimidators game.
The Intimidators and Budweiser will be giving away collectable Clydesdale Steins several times throughout the game as well as a few other promotional items. The Intimidators are also running a special at the ballpark with 16 oz. Budweiser and Bud Light draft for only $2 at the beer tent. The Budweiser Clydesdales made their first-ever appearance on April 7, 1933, as part of a celebration of the repeal of Prohibition.
