April 26, 2012 - Eastern League (EL) Trenton Thunder

(Trenton, NJ) The Trenton Thunder, the Double A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced on Thursday that three ticket packages, the Rivals Plan, the Happee Yankee and the Thunder Six Pack presented by Mrs. G's, are sold out for the 2012 season.

The Thunder offered four Mini Plans ( five or six game s each) and the choose-your-own ten or more game Pic-A-Plan this season. Limited seats remain for the Summer Swing Mini Plan (6 games starting June 2). All mini plans include free food at every game (hot dog, small soda, popcorn) and a free Thunder hat. Pic-A-Plans, where fans choose any ten or more games are also still for sale with some games not available due to lack of open seats.

Thunder Mini Plan sales are up 10% over last year at this time. Last season was the first year that any Thunder Mini Plan had sold out.

"Our Mini Plans are so popular with families and businesses because they include our best games, great freebies and they offer flexibility for people with busy schedules, " said Thunder General Manager Will Smith. "The Summer Swing plan, featuring some of our top games in June, July and August, is a fantastic option for those who want to take advantage of the free food and hat offer."

The Rivals Plan features games against the Thunder's top rivals, the Reading Phillies (Philadelphia), Portland Sea Dogs ( Boston) and Binghamton Mets (NY Mets). The Thunder Six Pack presented by Mrs. G's includes fireworks nights and the opportunity for fans to win a valuable appliance from Mrs G TV and Appliance of Lawrenceville, NJ at each game. The Happee Yankee plan is a five game plan featuring fireworks games and a bobblehead giveaway.

All Trenton Thunder tickets are on sale now at trentonthunder.com. All Thunder games can be heard at 91.3 FM and online at trentonthunder.com.
