Golf Tournament and BBQ Set for June 9th and 10th

The Owen Sound Attack is looking to make a weekend of it! The teams annual Golf Tournament and Awards BBQ will go on the same weekend, with the Golf Tournament taking place on June 9th and the Annual Awards BBQ taking place on June 10th.

The Golf Tournament format will change slightly from past years as it will now be called the "Attack Celebrity Golf Tournament" and will be played as a SIX PERSON SCRAMBLE, having 5 registrants team up with one current Attack Celebrity in a best ball format. The new format will offer fans the opportunity to golf with members of the current Attack squad and other "celebrities", while Attack/Platers Alumni will still be invited back for the weekend and have the opportunity to golf with former teammates an friends.

"As an organization, we felt this change in format offered fans and our current players a greater opportunity to connect outside of the arena.", Stated Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Brent Fisher. "We are very excited about the Golf Tournament this year and feel that having the members of our current team there will only add to the incredible atmosphere."

Registration for Saturday's Golf Tournament at Stone Tree Golf and Fitness is $170.00 (INC HST) and includes 18 holes of golf with power cart, lunch in your golf cart for added convenience, buffet dinner, free range balls, door prizes, silent auction prizes and so much more. The Annual Attack Awards BBQ will be held the following day on the JD McArthur Arena floor at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Doors open at 1:00pm and lunch will be served immediately upon entrance from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Having the lunch available immediately upon entry is intended to assist in avoiding long lines and wait times for food while making it easier for the BBQ staff to provide a freshly prepared meal.

Tickets for Sunday's awards BBQ are available at the Attack Box Office. Tickets for Adults are $12.00 while Children 13 and under are just $8.00.

Another reminder for fans is that the Early Bird Season Ticket deadline is Friday, June 29th at 5:00pm. If any current season ticket holders HAVE NOT received their renewal forms in the mail, please notify the Attack Box Office ASAP as your mailing address will need to be verified.
