Chris Leak Still a Shark

Jacksonville Sharks News Release
JACKSONVILLE - Contrary to reports published by the Orlando Sentinel and by OrlandoPredators.com earlier on Monday, quarterback Chris Leak is still a member of the Jacksonville Sharks' roster.
"It is unfortunate that Orlando jumped the gun on announcing that Chris Leak has joined their team," managing partner Jeff Bouchy said. "If the Predators want Leak, they have Coach Moss' number and we will be more than happy to trade him. We cannot see any scenario in which Leak will wear a Sharks uniform again."
Bouchy added that the Sharks "are listening to offers from teams throughout the Arena Football League, and we will make the decision that is best for our franchise and not what is best for our friends down South."
Leak started the Sharks' season opener in Kansas City in place of an injured Omar Jacobs. In that game, Leak completed 21 of 31 passes for 196 yards, five touchdowns and an interception in Jacksonville's 52-28 win.
The Jacksonville Sharks are members of the Arena Football League (AFL). The ArenaBowl XXIV and back-to-back South Division Champions are presented by Sea Best Seafood and play all home games on Sea Best Field at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. Season Tickets for the 2012 season are now available, two tickets as low as $111. To reserve your season tickets or for more information, please call (904) 621-0700.
