Spokane enters their Week 8 match-up after their second and final bye week of the 2012 Season, plus an impressive win over Milwaukee in Week 6. With Kyle Rowley continuing to take snaps under Center for the Shock, Coach Olson anticipates to continue the strong Offensive performance that was displayed against the Milwaukee Mustangs, as well as continued pressure on the Defensive side of the football. With players having the opportunity to rest up over the bye week, the Shock roster will see a few moves and players being activated this week from Injured Reserve rosters.

Shock Assigned Andrew Roxas.

Roxas, a 6-1 315 Offnesive Lineman, was a 2-year starter at WSU at both Guard and Center. General Manager Ryan Rigmaiden notes: "Roxas was in camp with us on a workout and showed he belongs in the AFL. His can play every line position and fullback, giving us a lot of flexibility up front."

Brandon, Sharpe, and Harris Activated from Injured Reserve and re-join Week 8 Roster .

After placing BJ Dennard on Re-Assignment and Terance Moore on the Injured Reserve list last week, the Shock will be Activating Offensive Lineman Corey Brandon, Defensive Lineman Brandon Sharpe, and Linebacker Freddie Harris to fill their Week 8 24-man Roster.

General Manager Ryan Rigmaiden comments on recent roster changes as they Shock saw Defensive Lineman Jeremy Geathers depart for the CFL last week: "Our roster is always changing because we're getting players to the CFL and NFL and injuries always are a factor. When players move to the next level or get hurt we depend on players to step up. After seeing what those three did in camp and earlier in the season, they're ready. "
