Chicago Wolves News Release
Chicago Wolves individual playoff tickets for the first round of the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs go on sale at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. The American Hockey League postseason schedule will be released after Sunday afternoon's regular-season finale against Peoria at Allstate Arena.
With four regular-season games remaining, the Wolves magic number is 1 to clinch the 15th playoff berth in the franchise's 18-year history. Chicago (40-26-3-3) also holds a four-point advantage over Milwaukee in the Midwest Division race.
Eight teams in each conference qualify for the playoffs. The three division winners are seeded first through third in order of points and the next five teams in order of points are seeded fourth through eighth.
The Wolves are in the midst of a season-high seven-game road trip that continues with a contest against the Texas Stars at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The team's next home game is slated for 7 p.m. Saturday against Milwaukee.
To purchase a playoff package - which offers fans the same seat for all 15 possible games - or playoff flex packs, call 1-800-THE-WOLVES. Individual tickets for playoff games at Allstate Arena also can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000, going any Ticketmaster outlet or the Allstate Arena box office, or visiting chicagowolves.com or ticketmaster.com.
