Windsor Spitfires News Release

(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires announced today that forward Brady Vail has been named the Tecumseh & South Walkerville Vision Centres Player of the Week for the week ending March 18th. This is Vail's second award in as many weeks after being named the Precision Jewelers Player of the Month last Monday. Brady has been outstanding all season at both ends of the ice and this week was no exception as he recorded 2 goals and 3 assists in road losses to Saginaw and Sault Ste. Marie. These 5 points bumped his overall totals to 22 goals and 30 assists. Brady finishes the regular season third in team scoring with 52 points and also ends the year with a +1 rating.

The 18-year-old has been crucial to the Spitfires late season push and now looks to continue his strong play heading into the opening round series against the rival London Knights. Vail will be counted on heavily to contain the Knights top forwards and also contribute offensively as well.

Congratulations Brady and good luck in the playoffs!
