
Attack Set Franchise Attendance Record

Owen Sound Attack News Release
With an Attendance of over 3400 on Saturday evening, the Owen Sound Attack set a new single season franchise attendance record, eclipsing the mark that was set during the 2006/2007 season.
The previous record of 97,171 was passed on over Saturday evening by 428, setting the new mark at 97,619. The Attack played 34 regular season home games and drew crowds of over 3000 people on 15 occasions. Over the 34 home games, the Attack drew an average of 2871/game, almost 97% of arena capacity.
"The support we receive from Owen Sound and our surrounding communities is of the best in the OHL," stated Attack President Dr. Severs. "We are very fortunate to have such passionate, dedicated fans and for that we are grateful."
Tickets for the Attack's opening round of the playoffs against Kitchener are on sale at the Attack Box Office. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.attackhockey.com or by calling (519) 371-7452.
The Attack will host the Rangers on Saturday, March 24th for Game 2 and Wednesday, March 28th for Game 4 of the Western Conference Quarter Finals.
