Sound Tigers Sign Galiardi to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (March 8, 2012) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today they have signed forward Rylan Galiardi to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Galiardi, 25, is currently in his rookie season with the Florida Everblades of the ECHL. The Calgary, AB native has posted 42 points (16 goals, 26 assists) in 53 games with the Everblades this season. Galiardi has 11 games of AHL experience and has recorded two assists.

Prior to turning pro this season, Galiardi played four seasons at Minnesota State University where he posted 81 points (29 goals, 52 assists) ini 140 games.

The Sound Tigers visit Hartford to take on the Whale on Friday night before hosting Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at Webster Bank Arena on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. and Norfolk on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Be sure to arrive early on Sunday for Andrew MacDonald Bobblehead Day, when the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative Andrew MacDonald Bobblehead Doll.
