P-Bruins Sign Pair from Brown University

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, in their 20th season in the American Hockey League, today announced that they have signed forward Bobby Farnham and goaltender Mike Clemente to Amateur Tryout Agreements.

Farnham, 23, is a four-year product of Brown University, where he recently completed his senior season for the Brown Bears. As an assistant captain this season, the forward tallied a career-high 13 assists in 31 games, adding eight goals for a career-high 21 points. In four collegiate seasons, the North Andover, Massachusetts, native totaled 54 points (23g, 31a) and 128 penalty minutes in 129 contests.

Clemente, 22, also recently concluded his college career at Brown, finishing his senior season with a 32-54-14 record. A Great Falls, Virginia, native, the goaltender compiled a 8-15-3 record and 2.68 goals-against-average and .907 save percentage as a senior.

The P-Bruins' roster is comprised of 27 players, including 15 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders.

The P-Bruins open this weekend at The Dunk versus the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday . The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. for Uncle Bob's Self Storage Koozie Night, free to the first 1,000 fans. First Aid Kits are free to the first 2,000 fans. The team is on the road the rest of the weekend. The club visits Route 146 rival, the Worcester Sharks, on Saturday, before traveling north to Portland on Sunday to close out the weekend.
