
Amerks Host Back-To-Back Games Vs. Binghamton this Weekend

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans will host the Binghamton Senators on Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10 at The Blue Cross Arena. Both games begin at 7:35 p.m. Friday's game will feature a visit from former Amerks and Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rory Fitzpatrick in the latest installment of the Seneca Casinos Legends Night series, while Saturday will be Irish Night presented by Tops Friendly Markets.
Fitzpatrick, an Irondequoit native and three-time AHL All-Star who played in more than 800 professional games, including 211 with the Amerks and 157 with the Sabres, will sign autographs prior to the game in the Upper Atrium. He will also drop the ceremonial first puck.
Friday's festivities also include an Amerks Happy Hour from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Upper Atrium Bar, where fans ages 21 and over can enjoy Molson and Coors Light drafts for just $2. College students with a valid school ID can purchase a ticket at the Box Office for just $10. In addition, the "Star Toss" will be presented by Tops Friendly Markets, with proceeds being donated to Life Solutions.
On Saturday, the Amerks will celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Fans that wear green clothing to the Box Office will be able to purchase a ticket in the best available seating location for just $12. In addition, St. Patrick's Day-themed "Mystery Pucks," signed by various Amerks players, will be on sale in the concourse.
The "Star Toss" will once again be presented by Tops Friendly Markets, with Saturday's proceeds benefitting the Brighton Food Pantry.
During the game, there will be a Tim Horton's Cup Drop, where fans who catch a cup falling from the rafters can win prizes from Tim Horton's. Every cup is a winner, with prizes including free coffee or a donut while one lucky fan will win a $50 Tim Horton's gift card. It will also be "Hockey Night in Rochester" on Saturday, as fans who wear their favorite Amerks or Sabres jersey to the game can purchase tickets in the best available seating locations for just $12.
