Catenacci Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has named forward Daniel Catenacci the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 4th.

The Attack went 1-1 at home this past week, losing to the Barrie Colts 3-1 on Wednesday before returning home on Saturday to defeat the Kingston Frontenacs 2-1 in a Shootout. Catenacci scored both regulation goals for the Attack last week plus the shootout winner on Saturday night, the only goal of the shootout for the Attack.

Catenacci now has 71 points on the season, matching his point total from last year with six games still to play. The Newmarket native has tallied a career high 33 goals, to go along with 38 assists and a +13 rating.

Honourable mention goes to Attack goaltender Jordan Binnington who stopped 46 of 47 shots on Saturday evening, including 3 more in the shootout.

The Attack is back in action on Wednesday evening when Bruce Power presents the Attack vs. the Barrie Colts.
