Moncton, NB - The Moncton Wildcats were back in Moncton to take on the Sea Dogs, the second place team in the country. The Cats held a 2-1 lead with goals from Scott Trask and Marek Hrivik, for almost half of the game until the Sea Dogs tied it up with a little over five minutes to go in the third period. The tying goal by Stanislav Galiev forced the game to OT and ultimately to a shootout. The cats lost 3-2.
The Rivalry Cup standings now sit at 20.5-16.5 in favor of Moncton going into Tuesday night's final matchup between the two teams in Saint John.
Tonight's sellout attendance was 6685 and the 50/50 pot was $12,850. Shots on goal were 52-27 in favor of Saint John. Moncton was 1/8 on the PP while the Sea Dogs were 2/6. Three stars were:

The Wildcats are back in action tomorrow Sunday February 26th vs. the Shawinigan Cataracts. Brandon Gormley will be in town to do a pre-game ceremony and sign autographs. There will also be a Gormley Team Canada Jersey raffle.
