Moncton Wildcats News Release
Moncton, NB - The Moncton Wildcats were back at home for the second night in a row looking to extend the streak to 5. Unfortunately it wasn't to be as the Cats lost to the Remparts 2-0 in a very tight game.
Frederick Roy had both goals for the Remparts the first in the third period with 12 minutes remaining and the last on an empty net with 30 seconds left in the game. It was a great game for an understaffed Wildcat lineup and something to build on for next weekend.
Tonight's attendance was 4901 and the 50/50 pot was $18,149. Shots on goal were 31-27 in favor of Quebec. Moncton was 0/4 on the PP while the Remparts were 0/1. Three stars were:
1. QUE - 37 Louis Domingue
2. MON - 29 Roman Will
3. QUE - 88 Frédérick Roy
The Wildcats are back in action Saturday February 25th vs. the Saint John Sea Dogs. Come out and support the Wildcats in the bid to win the Rivalry Cup!
